"Since the late 1950s and '60s, scientists have believed that the Earth's magnetic field has captured a lot of the solar wind - charged particles flowing out from the sun - and formed an immense, comet-like cloud of electrified gas that surrounds our planet. ACCORDING TO EXPERTS in the U.S. Geological Survey, the threat of severe damage in an earthquake is quite high for a number of major U.S. urban centers. Some, like San Francisco and Los Angeles, have been identified as high-risk areas for some time and have infrastructures better suited for dealing with the disasters. Others, like Seattle, have only recently seen their risk assessments climb, and are now scrambling to catch up.
Geologists say they can't accurately predict when and where quakes will strike next. But, says USGS geophysicist Art Frankel, "we can look at all quake locations and say which zones are most likely to get hit, and then engineers and others can use them for preparing so that it doesn't matter."

Frankel, who is project chief for the USGS's National Seismic Hazard Mapping Project in Golden, Colo., says five chief areas have been identified in the U.S. as being highly vulnerable to quakes:
*the Aleutian Island area of Alaska
*the San Andreas fault running north to south in California
*the Cascadia subduction zone, running north-south in the coastal waters of the Pacific Ocean from northern California to Washington state
*the New Madrid fault zone in the central U.S., including portions of Missouri
*and the Intermountain seismic belt, centered on Yellowstone National Park and extending to Salt Lake City and most of the Rocky Mountains in Montana.

Frankel said he also conducted a risk assessment that considered population densities where high-risk zones occurred, and compiled a list of the major urban centers most at risk. They are:
1. Los Angeles
2. San Francisco
3. Seattle
4. Salt Lake City
5. St. Louis/Memphis
6. Portland, Ore.

Frankel notes that New York City and Boston also rated highly on this list. "New York City is actually fairly significant," he said, "because it has only moderate hazard, but it has such a massive population that if you had one there, there'd be substantial damage and loss of life."

The earth absorbed a tremendous amount of energy during this period displayed and before. A major earthquake occurred in Turkey killing thousands. Other quakes occurred along the Atlantic ridge and in San Francisco. They were difficult to track because the USG world quake site was shut down for days so that we were unable to get much current data. We have never seen them do this before.
We were able to determine that there were more than 14 quakes of sufficient magnitude to get on the list for the 17th which normally averages 4 or 5 a day.

Please note that the satellite readings above are lower and less accurate than the previous satellite used . The Government switched in 1998 to #12 from #14 admitting at the time that it was "less accurate". The existing readings at the time were immediately lowered by the switch.

      The most powerful cyclone ever recorded in Australia, with winds of up to 300kph, smashed into Western Australia's north coast today.
      Cyclone John thundered over the coast near the tiny community of Whim Creek, but emergency services believe bigger coastal towns such as Karratha would escape its full fury. John is a top-rating category five cyclone and Bureau of Meteorology cyclone forecaster Brian Bowase said it was 'unequivocally' the most powerful ever recorded in Australia. CATACLYSMIC CHANGES
      And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1

      A far more important effect is the increase of activity in the geometric core structure of the planet as energy enters at the polar cusps. This leads to fusion and the creation of new matter, Electromagnetic pulses as well as more heat and pressure causing a chain reaction of cataclysmic transmogrify.
      We are partially shielded by our planet's magnetic field from these effects as a shielded distorted cavity is formed, the magnetosphere. Normally the closest the solar wind penetrates towards the Earth is about 10-11 RE (Earth radii), or some 40,000 miles, on the side of the cavity facing the Sun.
      On March 24, 1991 a significant CME traveling at 5 times the speed of the solar wind struck the magnetosphere. The data from space probe Ulysses suggested the boundary was within 4 RE of the Earth's center, and that the impact also created a second shock wave inside the cavity, spreading throughout the magnetosphere.
      The research spacecraft CRRES, operated by the US Air Force was at that instant deep inside the radiation belt, at a distance of 2.55 RE. The first thing CRRES saw was a torrent of highly energetic protons and electrons. The protons had energies above 20 Mev, twenty million electron volts, some 20,000 times the energy of the average proton in the solar wind. The passage of the shock also left Earth with a new long-lived belt of high-energy protons.

Killer electrons
      Satellites, such as when Galaxy IV failed last May, brought down communications networks and put 45 million pagers out of action. It is known that the culprit has been the Sun.
      "Dan Baker, director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and his colleagues have studied the solar weather conditions that existed at the time of the failure. They found that a large number of high-energy electrons had become trapped in the Earth's magnetosphere in the two-week period before the satellite failed, as a result of exceptionally stormy solar weather. According to Baker, it was 'one of the most intense periods that we've seen for the last two or three years'." From New Scientist, 27 February 1999
      These electrons with kinetic energies greater than a million electron volts have been dubbed "killer electrons".
      It is these high energy electron and proton belts that eventually stimulate and fuel earth core fusion.
      The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. Isaiah 24:20

      On September 22, 1998, the Sun ejected a mass of plasma toward Earth. On September 24, it rammed into and compressed Earth's magnetic shell in space to a point where some ions flowed downwind of Earth. Dr. Thomas E. Moore of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, principal investigator for Polar's Thermal Ion Dynamics Experiment (TIDE) stated, "This solar wind energy essentially cooks the atmosphere off of the Earth." [December 8 in San Francisco's. Meeting of the American Geophysical Union. ]
      It creates Sprites and Elves, as they are called due to the eerie light shows that they put on as they discharge volumes of electrical charges into the upper atmosphere. Some of these charges are dissipated through the common storm systems that we see circling the earth but mostly over land..
      This energy has other far reaching effects on Van Allen Belts, South Atlantic Anomaly and the very core of planet Earth itself. Hannes Alfven, winner of the 1970 Nobel Prize in Physics, explains many of these processes in a branch of plasma physics known as magnetohydrodynamics. This massive influx of energy into the ionosphere, atmosphere and eventually into the molten currents of magma beneath the lithosphere in such an excited state begins to charge the inner furnace of Earth's own atomic engines. This leads to a heating of the Asthenosphere and a moving of the hard mantel plates producing massive earthquakes and volcanic activity.

The Earth's Magnetic Field.
      No dynamo mechanism has ever been found to explain the postulated energy inputs needed to sustain the field. The measured field appears to be decreasing exponentially with a half life of only a few thousand years. The reversals before the current epoch certainly seem to be real---see Russ Humphries' article in latest CRSQ for recent discussion of field reversals in the past. The early work of Thomas Barnes on the decay of the earth's field is perfectly credible even if his current work concerning relativity seems less so.
     The earth's rotation has detectably paused [momentarily slowed] during CME passes. This was originally postulated in the '50s and has been verified since. Earthquakes can be triggered by CME impacts although earthquake activity overall seems to slow.       If the magnetic field collapsed or the planet shifted the location of its poles it would take some time to reestablish it self. During that period massive volcanoes, earthquakes in a constant trembling, followed by liquefaction where water burst loose from the ground, Some soils [sandy] turn to quicksand capable of pulling 4 story buildings down in the resulting mud in seconds rooftop at ground level. I have seen this], massive storms with winds that pull trees up.... Tsunamis. At see massive amounts of gasses would be released under the deep pressure. As these gas bubbles combined with the salt water they would began to rise shifting currents causing massive under sea changes. But even more critical is that the buoyancy of water would change for continent size areas at sea, literally sucking ships to watery grave and suffocating billions of fish. Ash clouds around the world would have a chilling affect, raining mud over large areas, land masses would be pushed down and others lifted up... the old California falling in the ocean routine.
      There could also be lightening and "ball lightening". There would be nothing left of the grid. While our shields were down the planet could receive another hit that would bring possible balls of fire as the plasma condensed and poured into our atmosphere.
      Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:: Matthew 24:29

Before all that there will be martial law as the government takes control with arrests, round ups, population removal, UN troops to keep order and collect those dangerous guns from radicals ..... etc... etc..
