In the picture above you see slaves wearing Charagmas. A charagma was a "badge of servitude" made by etching the important information about a slave in soft clay and then baking that clay. This worked also as a free pass around the city when fulfilling the assignments given slaves by their employers.

| People put such great emphasize on the word 'in' in the referred Biblical text. The word 'in' that we find in the New Testament is translated from the Greek word 'epi'. Epi is one of the few generic preposition in Greek that is translated many different ways as a mere preparatory word. For example epi is translated 'in' Rev 7:3, 9:4,13:6,14:1,14:9., but the same word is translated 'upon' in Rev.20:4; Matt 24:3; Luke 17:31; John 19:31; Acts 12:21 and 'on' in Matt 14:19, 24:17, 27:19; Mark 13:15; John 19:19; Acts 25:17; Rev 4:10, 5:1, 5:7, 6:16 and 'come to' in Matt 28:14 and 'by' Mark 11:4 and 'at' in Luke 22:40; Acts 25:10; Rev 8:3 and 'before' in Acts 24:20 and 'over' in Rev14:18 etc.etc. |

It is actually defined, "to make 1a) with the names of things made, to produce, construct, form, fashion, etc. 1b) to be the authors of, the cause 1c) to make ready, to prepare ... render one anything; to (make i.e.) constitute or appoint one anything, to appoint or ordain one that; ... 3) to be the authors of a thing (to cause, bring about)... 1e) to perform; to a promise." |

| There is an author of the this system, who has made everything possible and constituted the things which we have chosen to be apart of according to a promise. But it was not the God's promise but men who would be gods over you. |

Some of them are quite different. Which one we should apply may depend a great deal on the word the author used in the original Greek or Hebrew. So, lets check it out. |

| So, the words actually read 'hine mee tis' (That not 'some' or 'certain man'). |

| The words "some" and "certain man" don't sound as definite and absolute as "no man" and that is why he did not use the more absolute terms available. But let us look at the whole quote in context. |

| The word 'buy' is from 'agorazo' which means simply means "to be in the market-place, to attend it, hence 2) to do business there, buy or sell". |

| And 'sell' is translated from 'poleo' is a very general term from pelomai (to be busy, to trade). By itself 'poleo' means any thing from, "to barter, to sell" or "sellers". These words were often found together as an idiomatic expression referring to Roman commerce which was highly profitable and highly regulated. Pilate was the "chief financial officer" for Rome in that area. At that time in Roman history the "market place" often required a fee to enter (like a business license) and taxes on the commodities and quantities brought in or sold(like sales tax). Several of the deportations mentioned in the Bible by Rome were aimed at Jew and Christian. The were a part of the exclusion from the "market place" that claim because Christians obey Jesus would not take oaths required in many commercial arenas and they were always suspected for lack of loyalty. It was also a way of getting rid of the hard working competition. |

Most often it is translated 'can' and its meaning is, "to be able, have power whether by virtue of one's own ability and resources, or of a state of mind, or through favourable circumstances, or by permission of law or custom" |

| The word killed is not 'phoneuo' meaning 'to murder' but 'apokteino' meaning "to kill in any way whatever, to destroy, to allow to perish, to deprive". Those without a Social Security number will be deprived of ration stamps for food and gas during the upcoming "Global Disaster" as they are already deprived of jobs, credit, bank accounts, drivers licenses, electrical and gas hook up, court protection ......... the list goes on. |

| Now the "Global Disaster" that is coming and the Beast is preparing for is referred to in the Bible as the Wrath of God. It will create great problems for the people of the planet. But that is another story. |

| Many people will tell you that means they are going to hell. I'll make this quick. Fire and brimstone are not synonymous with hell any where in the Bible but they do mean something. They usually come from above which is maybe why Jesus told us to look for signs in the sun and the moon and the stars. |
